So what is the role?
Take charge of migrating our cloud infrastructure to a Microsoft Azure-based microservices architecture. In this strategic role, you will design, implement, and manage a reliable and scalable cloud environment that supports the growth and success of our products:
- Cloud Migration: Lead the transition of our cloud services to Azure-based microservices with minimal disruption.
- Infrastructure Design: Build and maintain a scalable, cost-efficient, and reliable cloud architecture.
- Operational Excellence: Set up processes for administration, monitoring, and incident management to ensure high availability and system reliability.
- Tech Stack Transition: Migrate services using Java Spring Boot, SQL/Postgres, and Kubernetes, preserving the existing tech stack unless necessary.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to align cloud strategies with business goals.
- Cost Management: Monitor and optimize cloud costs with tools like Azure Cost Management.
