So what is the role?
Are you ready to transform coffee operations at scale? In this role, you will take our coffee manufactory to the next level, developing and automating processes, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring our roasting operations are efficient, high-quality, and scalable: 
  • Transferring our coffee manufactory into scalable and automated coffee operations.
  • Developing a scalable roasting strategy (make/buy/partner) with a focus on efficiency, quality, and reproducibility.
  • Creating a coffee marketplace strategy to seamlessly integrate third-party roasters into the nunc. ecosystem, including the business model and partner contracts.
  • Building and maintaining partner relationships with third-party roasters to ensure sustainable and successful cooperation.
  • Automating processes along the entire value chain—from coffee roasting to shipping.
  • Selecting and introducing suitable packaging systems based on the developed roasting strategy.
  • Further developing the consumable strategy to ensure a strong product portfolio in the long term.
  • Implementing sustainable and efficient supply chains for packaging components.
This is the next level you achieve after 6 months:
  • Scaling strategy: Develop and implement a scalable roasting strategy (make/buy/partner) with a clear roadmap.
  • Marketplace model: Create a viable business model for integrating third-party roasting companies into the nunc. ecosystem, including initial partner agreements.
  • Automation: Kickstart process automation along the value chain—from roasting to shipping.
  • Supply chains: Establish scalable and sustainable supply chains for packaging components.
What you need for this role:
  • Passion for coffee, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strategic mindset.
  • Experience in business development, supply chain management, or process optimization, ideally in the food or consumer goods industry.
  • Structured working style with the ability to lead projects independently from idea to implementation.
  • Knowledge of process automation and/or operations management.
  • An eye for sustainable and innovative solutions in production and packaging.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially in partner management.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Excitement for shaping an innovative coffee start-up.

So what is the role?
In dieser Rolle transformierst du unsere Kaffeemanufaktur, entwickelst automatisierte Prozesse, baust strategische Partnerschaften auf und stellst sicher, dass unsere Röstprozesse effizient, qualitativ hochwertig und skalierbar sind:
  • Unsere Kaffeemanufaktur in skalierbare und automatisierte Kaffeebetriebe überführst.
  • Eine skalierbare Röststrategie (Make/Buy/Partner) mit Fokus auf Effizienz, Qualität und Reproduzierbarkeitentwickelst.
  • Eine Marktplatzstrategie erstellst, um Drittanbieter-Röstereien nahtlos in das nunc. Ecosystem zu integrieren, inklusive Geschäftsmodellen und Partnerverträgen.
  • Partnerbeziehungen mit Drittanbieter-Röstereien aufbaust und pflegst, um eine nachhaltige und erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit sicherzustellen.
  • Prozesse entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette—vom Rösten bis zum Versand—automatisierst.
  • Geeignete Verpackungssysteme auf Basis der entwickelten Röststrategie auswählst und einführst.
  • Die bestehende Consumable-Strategie weiterentwickelst, um ein langfristig starkes Produktportfolio sicherzustellen.
  • Nachhaltige und effiziente Lieferketten für Verpackungskomponenten implementierst.

What you need for this role:
  • Leidenschaft für Kaffee, unternehmerisches Denken und eine strategische Arbeitsweise.
  • Erfahrung in Business Development, Supply Chain Management oder Prozessoptimierung, idealerweise in der Lebensmittel- oder Konsumgüterindustrie.
  • Strukturierte Arbeitsweise und die Fähigkeit, Projekte von der Idee bis zur Umsetzung eigenständig zu führen.
  • Kenntnisse in Prozessautomatisierung und/oder Betriebsmanagement.
  • Ein Auge für nachhaltige und innovative Lösungen in Produktion und Verpackung.
  • Starke Kommunikations- und Verhandlungsfähigkeiten, insbesondere im Partnermanagement.
  • Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch.
  • Begeisterung für den Aufbau eines innovativen Kaffee-Startups.
