So what is the role?
As the Finance Lead for Next Level Coffee, you will play a pivotal role in driving our financial strategy, financial growth and operations. You will oversee all finance and accounting activities, including business case leadership, scenario analysis, cash flow management, KPI development and investor relations. This role requires a hands-on approach re-defining and managing finance processes, as well as the ability to vision the strategic aspects of a young company to ensure the financial health and growth of our company.

  • Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
  • Own our business case and conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Support and management of preliminary accounting internally, as well as coordination of data flows to the tax office.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and financial performance reporting.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare financial statements, investor reports, and other documentation required for fundraising and investor relations
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and accounting standards together with our tax advisors.
This is the next level you achieve after 6 months:
  • Establish and document comprehensive financial reporting processes and controls.
  • Develop and implement a cash flow management strategy to ensure liquidity and financial stability
  • Develop and implement a standardized budgeting and forecasting framework.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
What you need for this role:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of standard controlling tasks, cash flow management, KPI development, and accounting principles.
  • Experience with financial planning, analysis, and strategy.
  • You have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with startup financing and investor documentation is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and German.

So what is the role?
Als Finance Lead für Next Level Coffee wirst Du eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Gestaltung unserer Finanzstrategie, des finanziellen Wachstums und der operativen Abläufe spielen. Du wirst alle Finanz- und Buchhaltungsaktivitäten überwachen, einschließlich der Leitung von Business Cases, Szenarioanalysen, Cashflow-Management, KPI-Entwicklung und Investor Relations. Diese Rolle erfordert einen praxisorientierten Ansatz zur Neudefinition und Verwaltung von Finanzprozessen sowie die Fähigkeit, die strategischen Aspekte eines jungen Unternehmens zu visionieren, um die finanzielle Gesundheit und das Wachstum unseres Unternehmens sicherzustellen.
  • Unterstützung bei der Implementierung und Optimierung von Finanzsystemen und -prozessen.
  • Implementierung und Aufrechterhaltung robuster finanzieller Kontrollen und Verfahren.
  • Verantwortung für unseren Business Case und Durchführung von Finanzanalysen zur Unterstützung von Geschäftsentscheidungen und strategischen Initiativen.
  • Unterstützung und Management der vorbereitenden Buchhaltung intern und Koordination der Datenflüsse an Steuerbüro.
  • Verwaltung des Budgetierungs- und Prognoseprozesses, einschließlich Abweichungsanalysen und Berichterstattung zur finanziellen Leistung.
  • Entwicklung und Überwachung von Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) zur Verfolgung der Geschäftsleistung und Identifizierung von Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten.
  • Erstellung von Finanzberichten, Investorenberichten und anderen Dokumentationen, die für Fundraising und Investor Relations erforderlich sind.
  • Überwachung der Erstellung und Analyse von Finanzberichten, um die Einhaltung aller gesetzlichen Anforderungen sicherzustellen.

  • Nachgewiesene Erfahrung als Controller oder in einer ähnlichen Rolle in einem dynamischen Umfeld
  • Starkes Verständnis der Standard-Controlling-Aufgaben, Cashflow-Management, KPI-Entwicklung und Buchhaltungsgrundsätze
  • Erfahrung in Finanzplanung, -analyse und -strategie
  • Du beherrschst Microsoft Excel hervorragend
  • Vertrautheit mit Startup-Finanzierung und Investordokumentation ist wünschenswert
  • Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, sowohl schriftlich als auch mündlich, in Englisch und Deutsch
